NCQAA was established by the Council of Ministers’ Resolution 12 of the year 2022 dated on the 2nd of August 2022. The NCQAA, as the national quality assurance body, is responsible for overseeing and revising the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) in line with the general policies of the State. Through the academic accreditation process, NCQAA assures that HEIs meet the required standards and enhances the credibility of the qualifications awarded.
The Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ANQAHE) was established in June 2007 as a nonprofit nongovernmental organization. The purpose of establishing the Arab network for quality Assurance in higher education is to create a mechanism between the Arab countries to build a sustainable quality assurance ecosystem that aligns with international standards.
